Matt attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated with a Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2017. He is passionate about practicing pharmacy in his hometown. He enjoys answering medication related questions and making connections with patients and other area healthcare providers. In addition to day-to-day pharmacist activities, Matt provides clinical services including immunizations, comprehensive medication reviews, blood pressure screenings and overseeing a medication packaging service. Matt’s areas of interest in pharmacy include compounding, pharmacokinetics and inventory management. When he is not at the pharmacy, Matt enjoys spending time with his family. His interests include hunting, camping, biking and hiking.



Lois is a pharmacy technician and assists the pharmacists in preparing prescriptions, managing inventory and helps with a medication synchronization service. She keeps our shelves organized and is eager to special order items if a patient desires. She is passionate about essential oils carried in the store. When she is not at the pharmacy she loves spending time with her family and attending estate sales.



Lisa’s love of pharmacy started early, her father Gene is a pharmacist and opened the Cross Plains Pharmacy in 1972. This sparked an interest in pharmacy for Lisa and she attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated with a Bachelor of Science-Pharmacy degree in 1982. After graduating she worked for other pharmacies and gained experience before returning home and joining Gene in the family business. Lisa provides vaccinations, Medicare Part D reviews, blood pressure screening advocating for patients and encouraging healthy lifestyles. She currently serves on the Cardinal Health Regional Advisory Board, the Women in Pharmacy Board and is a Cross Plains LIFE Foundation committee member. She enjoys traveling when she has the time but these days the business keeps her closer to home spending time with family and her two house rabbits.

Delaney Brainerd

We’d like to introduce you to Delaney, our newest staff member. We are excited to have her join us as a Pharmacy Intern. She has previously worked a number of years at her home town pharmacy in Iowa and will now be sharing her knowledge and skills with us. Delaney is currently in her third year of studies at the UW Madison School of Pharmacy. She enjoys learning more about the field of pharmacy. Delaney is able to provide medication consultations, immunizations, comprehensive medication reviews, medication packaging and assists the rest of the staff with day-to-day activities. She is passionate about psychiatric pharmacy and how pharmacists can positively impact the mental health of the people in their community. Most importantly, she loves the “homey” feeling of small town independent pharmacies and is excited to get to know the people of Cross Plains. Please stop in, say hello and welcome her to our community!



Taylor became a certified pharmacy technician in early 2018. She and her family join us from West Virginia Mountain Mama where she went to school for her associate degree in applied science-pharmacy. Taylor is very interested in learning more about pharmacy and plans for it to be her long-term career. She enjoys assisting patients with whatever questions or needs you may have. She will be your primary contact for our medication packaging and our medication synchronization programs. In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and exploring our beautiful area and all it has to offer!
